I went through Dairy Queen's drive-thru the other day and watch them take a burger stick it in the microwave and then put it back on the grill. So today I went by and asked the manager about it. She explained to me that they call it boosting to melt the cheese and yes they do microwave all of their burgers. She also told me that Wendy's and McDonald's do the same thing.
