So, apparently Dairy Queen in Thompson has four stars. Four stars. Really. That’s… generous, to put it lightly. Let’s get real: this is fast food. Ice cream, burgers, chicken strips — none of it’s going to blow anyone away, and none of it is gourmet. But out of all the burger and chicken spots in town, DQ actually does manage to be… not terrible. The pop dispenser had stale non carbonated drinks. Had to ask for ketchup. Had to ask for napkins. Shouldn't they be asking if I want these things? Speaking a foreign language instead of English. Poor business people.

A couple months ago I visited this location for the first time; I ordered a blizzard and not only did it take forever to receive the order the fullness level was lacking. It seemed like there was not enough of the mix-ins, which really disappointed me since I was looking forward to that perfect blend of ice cream and toppings.
