Good food at at Cheap price! Dairy Den is one of the cheapest fast food places in the area. The tiny restaurant is great for carry-outs, as their are only four or so booths to sit at within the place. Dairy Den has a great variety of choices, including hamburgers, salads, chicken & shrimp baskets, and really great ice cream treats! I haven't been for awhile, but during our high school open lunch this was one of our favorite places to go because of the really cheap prices. Good Short-Order Food This small restaurant has typical short-order items: hamburgers, hot dogs, shrimp baskets, fries, etc. There is a counter and just a few tables; it is a good restaurant for carry-out. My favorite item is the taco salad; it typically has good meat and lettuce, cheese and sour cream. The shell is flaky and not oily. This restaurant does not seem to stay open all year and it is not open very late at night.
