Purchased a new 2023 Freightliner Cascadia at Daimler Perth & after 11 mths truck was delivered. After getting truck home discovered that had no exhaust stack fitted as ordered (routed underneath). This is a major issue as truck is used carting grain during harvest & drives through stubble. Has done 1 harvest with exhaust underneath. Thankfully didn't light a fire. First order of exhaust parts never arrived. Then discovered that salesman (who had ordered the parts) had left. (6mths after delivery). Truck needed to go to body... read more
Continously poor service. The techs there don't seem to know how to diagnose stuff, they just replace parts until something works. The cost of the repair ends up being unjustifiable. Parts pricing is also stupid considering some parts are stamped with a Bosch number that costs 1/5 of the price from a genuine supplier, just doesn't come in a Mercedes/Fuso box.
Worst experience of all time, not once but twice, just because of experience at this place i want to stay away from all the trucks they sell! Hopeless place. I wish i could give zero star. If anyone from Velocity really wants to do something about this, reach out to me happy to give you a feedback. Also please take off your prerecorded sayings of phone about having 50 bays and considerate of us being busy because in real no one give a shit at this place.
