I work at a GM dealership, I installed 2 of their transmission in the past week. BOTH have come back with issues. First one they sent a "New" TECHM, which isn't going to fix the stuck valve in the pump cover. The 2nd one just pulled in with a massive leak from the rear of the transmission. I didn't buy these units, but if i did id want my money back. I would not recommend buying a 6L80E from this company until they refine their remanufacturing process and or hire different people/robots to do better work.
Everyone at this company was great with the exception of Lisa from the core department. What a rude and unprofessional woman! She hung the phone up on me twice and will speak over you any chance she gets! Beth on the other hand was very professional and helped me with the issue immediately. Lisa is the reason this company will lose their customers.
(Edit after company response) What a generic weasel response. Of course you don't have a record of me, all you know is my Google screen name. The photos speak for themselves and they have your company name on the documents IN THE PICTURES. I'm clearly not interested in "resolving" anything with a company blatantly trying to rip off hard working people. People deserve to see how you conduct yourselves in business. I worked with Jason Fowler to purchase a new 5.4L for my ford van. Crisp service, answered all my questions, communicated well. Engine looks great, and came with handy hardware that I'd have to buy elsewhere. 1 year/ 26k miles later: After taking FLAWLESS care of it, the engine is tapping and running rough. This company is scamming its customers with "Remanufactured" engines that haven't been rebuilt at all. After paying nearly $4000 they sent me a Ford 4.6 2 valve engine that was clearly a used engine that had the outside cleaned and painted. The cylinders had significant carbon deposits on everything and clearly used valves and seats. NO WORK WAS DONE INSIDE THE COMBUSTION CHAMBERS AT ALL.
