I’ve been a loyal customer of the Dagwoods location in Saint-Charles since they first opened. However, during my last two visits this year, I was disappointed to notice that the signature ‘Dagwoods’ sandwich has noticeably less meat than in the past. Bought 2 sandwiches that were disappointing and frankly unappealing. Hot peppers were not cut into thin rings, but enormous 2" long chunks! Green bell peppers were 1" long by 1/2" wide, not a small dice like is at other locations (and which I assume is the standard). The interior of the restaurant also smelled strongly of bleach... This location and the quality of their food has been going down for years, and this is the last time I will be a customer. Went to Dagwoods on Charles blvd. I was so disappointed. First my brother and I parked our bikes near the windows and I asked if we could sit near our bikes and she told me that section is closed! All the nice tables near the windows were off limits and blocked by chairs. Imagine a closed section in a fast food restaurant at 11:45am. The place was empty except for us.
