My family and I visited Llano for the first time this past week/weekend, and we stayed at the Dabbs Hotel. We had such a wonderful experience. The hotel is within walking distance of several great restaurants, which was so convenient, and our favorite place to eat was The Barrel House. The hotel owners were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. While this hotel has a nice historic feel to it and was well cleaned, the building itself has not been upgraded much since it's earlier days. In particular, the sound proofing between rooms; it's similar to staying in someone's home. This is not the place to stay if you want to get a good night's sleep. Be prepared to hear everything the other tenants are doing, even things you'd never want to hear other couples doing in the room next to you... We will not be staying here again.

Wonderful hospitality along with comfortable room. Common spaces are very nice and include a great view of the river falls. Within walking distance of downtown.

First off, I hate giving bad reviews, but I am not happy with our experience at this B&B. The hotel was wonderful, comfortable & we were able to really relaxed after 8 hrs on the road. The problem was that we did not get that wonderful breakfast promised the next morning & paid for. We were the only 2 people staying & Lynn never showed up, called or text. We had our coffee & waited ~ Lynn was a no-show. I am very disappointed. Will not be staying again or recommend.
