This person should not be working with children. We were drawn to her because she is one of the few that claims to be gifted children specialized. She thinks she is being "clear" with boundaries with children, but in reality she is being a bully to them. She hardly interacted with my child, but when she did, it was to scold him. Dr. Yermish is the only therapist that I have ever felt understood me at all. There is something both beautiful and awful about being a gifted person, and that complexity is something that Aimee understands from the inside. For the first time in my life, I feel okay with who I am, and it is because of her. I appreciate her absolute honesty, her integrity and her no-nonsense approach.

Dr. Aimee Yermish is a highly esteemed colleague. She is dedicated to doing her absolute best for each person she serves. Dr. Yermish takes a sensitive, nuanced expert approach to figuring out what would be the best educational setting and method for each individual and then to helping them or their parents find or craft that arrangement. She is a highly skilled and resourceful professional. I recommend her strongly.
