Da Nico has a reputation for its thin crust brick oven pizza, but the menu also has barbecued items and even lobsters. Great dinner choices include Calamari Fra Diavolo and Porchetta (marinated roast pig). The atmosphere is traditional and friendly with tables out at front and an outdoor garden in the back for warm weather. Front tables face the street, but you can choose to dine in the more secluded back dining room decorated in brick and wood, if you want.

Di Nico was an absolute gem! Our group of nine, visiting from DC, California, and Texas, had an amazing experience with impeccable service and mouthwatering Italian dishes. The pasta bolognese and lasagna were standouts, definitely worth a try if you're in New York! ❤️Ivan server is the best
We had a party of 11 all with carry on bags and the hostess was still willing to seat us comfortably in an area where we could spread out without any complaint - in fact she suggested the room when we had mentioned sitting out of the way outside. The server was great also with good menu suggestions and attentiveness. As good as the service and atmosphere though - the food was the star of the show for sure! Definitely recommend and can’t wait to get back to town to eat here again !! Even ended dinner with a great cup of cappu... read more
The Sea Bass special was amazing along with the passionfruit margarita was amazing. Highly recommend if walking through little Italy.
I had the pleasure of dining at Da Nico in Little Italy, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. The restaurant has a welcoming, family-run feel, with a cozy dining room and a beautiful garden in the back that makes you forget you’re in the middle of Manhattan. The food is everything you want from a traditional Italian restaurant — hearty pastas, crisp brick-oven pizzas, and generous portions that truly satisfy. Complimentary zeppoles at the end were thoughtful touches that made the meal even more... read more
This is the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The chicken, sauces, pizzas and pastas were all great. The service was very good—they brought us extra waters and breads as soon as we finished them without us even asking! Complimentary dessert was a pleasant surprise. Oh and the best part was the outdoor seating on a quiet, car-free street in the heart of Little Italy; it was a beautiful environment.
