I had the privilege of taking a one-on-one loc repair class with Mae at Da Loc Shop, and it was an incredible experience. Mae is extremely knowledgeable and truly gifted as a teacher. Please save your time and money. I had sister locks before for 3 years, then changed the hair up. When I decided to go back to locks I wanted someone certified for the XL, and found her on the registry. I went to Maevette Allen, who is a Brand Ambassador to get Sisterlocks XL. When she did my sample locks, on the initial visit, they were strong and securely locked all the way down. Very little hair out. I love Mae as a person and loctian. She’s been doing my sister locs for 5 years and has taken very good care me. Not once have I had any issues. She accesses the hair and advise as as needed. Mae is the best all around and that's with me covering my and my famiky's loc journey through 5 states (Iowa, Illinois, Texas, Louisiana and Georgia). We've been with Mae for 3 years. Those times I've allowed others to do our hair, due to schedule conflicts, Mae has had to do extensive repairs. She's honest. She's kind. She's an expert. A master of her craft. I'm to the point where I do not care for others to touch our hair because they never retie or dye to the level and high standards that Mae practices.
