Had power from these guys not in our country house for years. We were set up on Advanced pay where we bought all of our electricity ahead of time. We really liked it however we were always losing power we were told we were at the end of the line so we were very low on the priority list even though we paid it for our power ahead of time. Way over priced
Over priced Electricity. They charge Approximately 50% to as much as 100% more per kilowatt vs Westar depending on time of year. In my opinion DS&O is a horrible corrupt overcharging price gouging opportunistic so called power company. (They dont even generate power, they buy it from the same power company that serves cities like Abilene and Salina, then jack up the price ) They also double charge for electricity used from 3 to 6pm weekdays during July thru Sept. DS&O is not a good company to have your power from. I run computer equipment, I have to put a "line conditioning" UPS with each computer, because of brown-out problems. The power goes out AT LEAST 4 times a week. This month I have had 4 extensive outages (more than 2 hours down). I am considering going off-grid because I pay WAY too much for garbage service. Sad that our state government allows power companies to do business this way.
Way overpriced bill. $15.00 daily on electricity for a little apartment.
