I purchased a used DS sheep system and was in need of some parts as well as instruction. I was concerned at first, thinking they might give me "the bum rush" since I wasn't the original purchaser. I bought sheep and goat feeders 30 years ago, still using them.
Off ground bale feeder is flimsy, unstable, not the right size for goats. One of the floor pedestrels started to bend soon after loading first round bale. I called customer service. Response #1. DSL sold hundreds and never had any issues. Response #2. Blamed customer for damaging the pedestrel by hitting on it. Customer spending thousands dollars would not hit on equipment and damage it. Purchased the ewe grafting head gate at Sheepman Supply in Frederick, MD . The ewes get used to it quickly and the lambs quickly learn to nurse. Saved bottle feeding. Excellent product. Well done D-S
