Paid Dan $2000+ dollars for a new hood paint and install. After getting the run around for over 6 months I have decided to cancel my services. To which I found he didn’t even bother to order the parts despite the ample time and patience given. Upon cancelling services, Dan has kept my money and has made zero effort to return it. Which I will continue to request until either the actual work is done or that my money is returned in full.
CROOK CROOK CROOK! Costumers BEWARE! Nothing but a nightmare experience beginning to end. Daniel does no legit paperwork or record keeping whatsoever! At the end of the day, its your word against his. His work takes forever and is of lowest possible quality ever. He looses parts and takes zero accountability. Always hard to get on the phone or catch at the shop, unless youre there at the buttcrack of dawn. Dont let his charm and wit steer you the wrong direction into trusting him. D's is an East Bay hidden gem! There have been multiple occasions where I had to visit D's and my expectations weren't just met, but exceeded every single time. The staff at D's is attenuative, responsive, and very detailed in their work. They let you know exactly what will be done to your car, and upon pick-up, they'll give you an excellent idea of what they did, where they did it, and how it turned out.
