I got my haircut by Heelan and the experience was amazing! The hair washing process was so relaxing, and she listened to what I wanted while working with incredible skill. I left feeling comfortable, refreshed, and loving my new look—highly recommend her!

Heelan is the best!! I discovered MKP Salon (now D-Rock) when I was living in Ridgewood by Windsor and I'm so glad I listened to my gut! Heelan does an amazing job and is the sweetest, nicest person. I'm very low maintenance when it comes to my hair and often procrastinate when it comes to haircuts (I often get a haircut once a year, this time it was six months) when it comes to my haircuts (either go with a basic trim or layers, recently it's been layers). It's always a great experience. From the front desk staff to the massage chairs while having your hair washed, to the cleanliness of the salon, to the beautiful decor that makes you feel zen and the great skills of Don. I have lived in Virginia for 19 years now and had yet to find someone who knew how to cut my very curly hair. Every place I have gone to would make my hair uneven because they didn't know how to deal with curly hair. Don is so great at what he does. I HIGHLY recommend this salon.
