Got a synthetic oil change here for $93.73 . With tax it was $100 exactly. A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR AN OIL CHANGE. Yes you heard that right. And yes i have the receipts. Im a college girl who does not know anything about cars, but since theres so little places in statesboro to get anything done, this was the closest to me. i would not recommend this place at all. Went back home in Atlanta and got the same thing for $65 exact. Try Savannah or simply go back home because its not worth it.
My daughter took her car in for an oil change and tire rotation. We walked away having to purchase new lug nuts and wheel studs. We asked to have the old ones so we could see them. They said they threw them away. We have a local ASE certified mechanic in our town, who we use for all our auto work, and asked what they would have charged if she had been in town. D&R was double their price.
Do not go to D&R unless you want to get overcharged!! It’s a shame that car shops take advantage of girls, especially college aged girls. The owner texted me a few days after my appointment and I replied expressing that I was upset with the pricing, after pricing what they did to my car with other trusted mechanics, and the owner failed to respond.
D&R has wasted enough of my time. Commenting about my experience would be a further waste of my time. I should have know better than to take my car there, I just thought somehow they would be better than the useless dealership in town. I was wrong.
