Dr-Horton American Builder is a Nightmare I bought my house on December 2006, before I close Escrow we have many concern about up grades, several mistakes and they threat me if I not close escrow I will loose all my deposits plus 3% of value house , It is a Nightmare. My Home is a mess , Cracks all over the house , half way no electricity. My entrance all cements floor is cracked including driveway.Stucco around the house is all cracks. D R Horton home owner I bought mine in early 2004. Before the year ended, I had major structural defects that Horton claimed were merely cosmetic. Two state departments agreed that structural issues were to blame. Unfortunately, hundreds/thousands across the nation have experienced the same corner cutting measures. D R Horton My sister had a home built by this company and I must say I am very impressed with her beautiful home. Her particular home starts from the mid 200's, but even the smaller priced homes are built with quality. These people know how to build a great quality home from beginning to end. Had I known what I know now, I would have had them build my home as well.
