Very good place to do business with! Down to earth owner and employees. Never felt like they were trying to take my money but always felt like they wanted to make sure everything was done right
I agree with the other reviewers. We brought in a head from a 1992 Honda Civic and they did a great job machining and cleaning it, grinding the valves and replacing a couple. And they're incredibly helpful. I am certainly not a mechanic and had some questions and Randy did a lot to make sure I understood what I was doing. I highly recommend them.
I trashed the head in my MR2. D&R was recommended to me. I was VERY impressed by the friendly help I received. I actually ended up abandoning the engine and didn't have them do any machining (just an inspection on what the head would need), but I was so impressed I had to leave a review.
Just got my head machined and valves installed and they did great work. Fast service, clean shop, and great communication. Will definitely be back in the future.
D&R do incredible work here with quite possibly the best customer service I have ever seen. I had dropped off a cylinder head for resurfacing, valve grinding, cleaning, & installation of new valve guides. I had provided them with valve guides that were an incorrect size, and they swiftly notified me of the issue so I could correct it. I cannot say enough good things about D&R. Rest in peace Dave.
