Avoid Domingo and D&L Tree Service and Landscaping. Domingo pulled a bait-and-switch scam on me twice, and is now harassing me for a third. Both times, he agreed to a price, then showed up and demanded more money before starting the job. His written agreement clearly said "removing weeds and haul away," but he never hauled anything away, HE NEVER EVEN BROUGHT A TRAILER! Today, D&L cut down a moderately sized pine tree on my property in Lake Riverside Estates. I selected them based on Google reviews and on their bid for the project, which was quite a bit lower than that from a service I've used before. Domingo and Lucia arrived with a minimum of equipment: climbing gear, saws, and a chipper. They were the only crew: no helpers. These things certainly helped explain why their bid was so reasonable. I needed some help trimming a small cluster of oak trees and chipping up the chaparral branches I had already taken down myself - and I was so happy I called D&L! By the time I called, I had huge piles of branches in my yard, and I was worried it would be hard to find someone to come out to Anza for something like this.
