Paso Robles Local Here. Absolutely terrible experience.👎⚠️ Would never recommend. Called them before going in. I said to the employee who picked up the phone "Hey man! How's a going?" "I'm looking for a camp stove" THEN HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME. I said to myself, oh, maybe it's just a problem with their phone or bad service. Called them right back the guy said "D&J" and I said "Hey I'm looking for a camping stove, was wondering if you guys had one?" And yet again the guy just hangs up. Very helpful, lots of great camping/backpacking equipment that won't break the bank.
Avoid this place if you can. The store rep sold a camping mat for $30 that I later learnt that you can get in Walmart for $12. That too, was a “special discount” after he tried to sell it for $40. He later on tried to sell something which had a price tag on for $29.95 for $60 by removing the price tag before passing it to me. Luckily I had seen it the first time. They will scam you if given the opportunity, so it is best to look at authentic retailers.
The owner was so helpful we will shop there more often
