they made me feel safe to continue with my move I moved from Mesa, AZ to Bellingham, WA and while driving through Redding I had some issues with my Tahoe. I called D&H and they drove to my truck to look at it before they had me spend unneeded money to tow it. No rip offs here I highly recommend this place. We ran into some unexpected car trouble and called around, they were the lowest price by over $30 which is alot when you aren't working! They didn't try and tell me I needed to have 4 other things fixed and a minor point, but the bill was $19.67, he only had me pay $19 even. Not a major deal, but proof that they aren't all about the money
You will wait forever and won't be told of what is going on Used to be a great place to bring your car. But now they would let your car sit in the sun for days without doing anything, then they won't tell you they can't fix it for some reason, until you call few hours to pick up your car. We were told by them they "messed" up that is why your car is not ready. Honest, Helpful, Friendly - Outstanding Service !! Trust these guys - they will look after you ! It's impossible to give the team at D&H high enough praise. They are the most honest, hard working mechanics I've ever met. They will not 'sell' you anything you don't need and will help you wherever possible. We saved well over $1,000 ( on some extensive engine work ) by taking their advice, AND they got the work done on time, AND they did a few minor jobs while we were waiting for a very small additional amount. They are such a kind and caring company (all of them) and REALLY care about the customer...and I DO mean really care. They understand financial problems and/or limitations. They care about the customers well-being. Example: My Mom went to D&H and they advised her that it would NOT be worth it to fix the air conditioning, since the car isn't worth it. Great Service I recently used D&H Automotive and had a really wonderful experience with them. I thought I had a major engine problem and was really concerned about the cost being too much to afford (though I did not voice this to them- just asked for a diagnosis). They diagnosed the problem and fixed it the same morning I dropped it off. They did not try to over charge- in fact they gave me an extremely reasonable price and did not charge for the diagnosis itself.
