I had been told at Alta Bates hospital on 9/6 that the CT of my brain showed a prior "silent (symptomless) stroke. This news had me full of anxiety & fear & desperately trying to see a neurologist for the 7 weeks between the hospital diagnosis and this neurology appt. Dr. D. Dr. Collins is an who is an expert in neurology as a down-to-earth and kind person. He is also not above sharing a relevant fun anecdote. He definitely put me at ease during my visit and inspired confidence in his ability to diagnose my health issue.
I have seen Dr. Collins over the past year and more for my neurological concerns. He is very professional as is his staff, has me do some quick tests to judge my health. So far, so good, no major issues as of yet, am scheduled to go back in 6 months. Hope to continue this good relationship into the future.
