Visiting family here in Washington from Maryland..visited D&D Jeweler and the owner was so knowledgeable and honest and so nice..we decided to put diamond on my wedding band ..I wasn't sure if it would be done on time before I left but he promised it would be done and it was done on time..my ring is so beautiful the way he had a set..I am so pleased with how it turned out..I will definitely recommend him..he was so wonderful ..personable..knowledgeable..it was the BEST experience. Honestly if I had read reviews prior to going in I wouldn't have. Thats the power of words. I didn't read the reviews first. I read these when I wanted to write my own. I almost didn't because I didn't want to lead anyone astray but this is based on my experience. I needed to buy a stone and have it replaced in a wedding ring and purchased a band. We had excellent service, fair price and the work was done quickly. I would do business with them again.
DO NOT GO HERE! If I could leave zero stars I would. I took a pendant handed down from my great grandmother. It was pure gold, probably 24k. Owner even remarked how nice the gold quality was when I gave it to him. All I wanted was a bell to attach it my necklace. I also had another pendant my mom got from a pilgrimage that I was dipping in gold. Owner quoted me a three day turn around. I called him after three days and he said he needed more time to dip the one pendant. He did this 4-5x and even yelled at me once and hung up... read more
BUYER BEWARE!!! These people are scam artists and criminals. They misrepresent the quality of their jewelry selling stainless steel like it was sterling and gold plated items as if they were gold. I took an antique gold and enamel watch that I got from my grandmother in there to repair the band and the owner said he had to send it out to fix because the missing spring in the band had to be made. I buy my rose gold bracelet there but disappointed...chain 14k but part where you need to close is 925 silver but I pay $800... but my necklace what my husband order rose gold is completely 925 silver just look like gold...be careful when you make choice
