Worst scrap yard ever. Employees r still rude, lazy, and unprofessional. My sister brought in a load of scrap. They refused to help her unload. She is 62 years old with a disability and weighs no more than 100lbs.. Then the young guy, the owners son, yelled at her because she didn't have the scrap properly sorted and when she asked for help he abruptly informed her that it was not his job to unload and/or sort her scrap. He told her she could put it back on the truck to take back home to sort. She said he has a very cocktail... read more
Straight forward business. As with any metal recycling, it's best to bring clean metals, remove insulation from copper, valve stems and weights from aluminum rims, etc. They pay in cash which is convenient.
ABSOLUTELY, HANDS DOWN, WORST recycling center I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. Employee's were cranky and disrespectful. Would not help unload though I am disabled. Refused to help identify more costly metals...I assumed so they could take advantage of me . Which they did as I brought in a load (mostly aluminum and stainless) and received $29 and change.
