I had a leak along my chimney that a previous roofer didn't completely repair. Jay came out looked at it. He diagnosed the likey source and cause (water pouring from an upper roof onto the lower roof at a shingle seam without and ice and water shield or adequate flashing, and debris in the gap, causing water to seep under) then removed the shingles to expose the wet wood and confirmed the leak. They installed a metal roof with snow guards which were installed incorrectly. As a result they tore out and now there are holes in the metal roofing which needs to be repaired. They have failed to respond to numerous phone calls and even contact through their website.

Owners response to this review is simply dishonest. But at least the guy responded to something! We discussed an estimate for all work needed and at no point did anyone at anytime ask for or elude to getting a "jacked up" estimate. That is a flat out lie which has made me lose all respect for this person. I said I would pay out of pocket for any work the insurance doesn't cover so have no clue why Jay Cyr would create such a fabrication. This is wording in our private messaging back and forth.
