I went there on April, 20 with a very badly ear ache, I couldn't believe that I was turned away the nurse at the emergency said that I should of gone to the walk in and that my ear was not an emergency, I had to leave and go to the walk in,I was in soooo much pain ,how could she have known that my ear wasn't urgent, I had a very badly ear infection that my eardrum rupture in the night. I was brought to hospital by ambulance. I am Grateful to Dr. Gatzke, Dr. Cuthbert, and Dr. Little for taking Good care of me over 3 days. Many thanks to the nursing staff, M.J., Pam, Charmaine, and student nurse Molly. And of course Clayton for bringing in my meals. All professional in their positions. Thank you again, a Grateful patient in Room 257.

Worst experience! If i could give 0 stars i would! Check in i had a nice nurse she was sweet, but when waiting came that was a joke.. went to ER for possible amniotic fluid leak.. the wait was long in the room and when i asked because i saw the doc on call chatting to the nurses and laughing, if someone can just come and check as the procedure takes 5 min and then i have to wait 1hour and a half for results, they immediately threw attititude and sarcasm, especially when i asked well i cant wait here the whole day can i leave... read more

My family recently had a very concerning experience with Swift Current Hospital while trying to get care for my mom. She was advised by a general surgeon that she needed to be admitted, yet the hospital attempted to send her home instead. This was extremely alarming and made us feel like her condition was not being taken seriously. What made the situation even more difficult was the inconsistency in care. I just had surgery there. The nurses were great. I had to stay one night and needed stronger pain meds. I didn't have to advocate for myself, the nurses did that for me. And they did it with love. Extra blankets and coffee and hearing my concerns. It was wonderful support during a very painful first two days of recovery.
