I'll take my chances on dying in transit to a hospital in a better place, at least then, both possibilities will lead me to one.

I was a patient for an Ultrasound on October 20th, around 9 - 9:30 a.m. in the Cypress Regional Hospital. It was an amazing experience. The technician nurse was kind, informative, thoughtful and professional!! The best experience for me!! Thanks!!

I actually chose to get up and leave with my broken wrist (after waiting 4 hours) because I was so appalled at the lack of professionalism in the ER dept. I completely understand and respect that wait times vary and there are priorities that come in, but they didn’t check on me or update me even once. While sitting in the internal waiting room, a Dr came in and gave the lady next to me her testing results. So far, this hospital has gone above and beyond for my son. He's attempting to get from BC to Winnipeg. He's an army vet who desperately needs treatment for a long standing alcohol addiction. He does want to get sober. He's had horrible challenges since he left BC, due to his addiction. RCMP found him in a ditch and admitted him here. He did walk out once to buy alcohol, was picked up and taken back to hospital. The Doctor who has connected with him has given him hope, help and compassion. The staff are all working with him ... read more
