I had a very positive experience at Cypress Coast Subaru! This is the second time I have bought a car from them and each time it's been a positive experience. I never felt pressured. They were always honest and they took the time with me to explain and address any of my concerns.
BUYERS BEWARE: We were motivated buyers with excellent credit, ready to leave with a new Subaru. The out-the-door quote they gave us was more than $17,000 (almost 40%) over sticker price. That seemed exorbitant to us. When we pushed back, we were offered a quote that was more than $11,000 over sticker price. We chose to leave. Wound up purchasing almost the exact same model in San Jose for sticker price, out-the-door. This was my first time personally dealing with this Subaru. I purchased a 2023 from Modesto Subaru, and we began having an engine issue. I had to have it towed here because it was the "closest" Subaru. They quoted me $4300 for an engine teardown and $9k-$12k for an engine replacement. Which began our pursuit of a new vehicle. We were recently shopping for a car after being in an accident and needed to move quickly. At Cypress Coast, Tina quoted us $34,000 out the door for a 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid with 43,000 miles and $33,000 for a used Subaru Outback Premium with a moonroof and 10,000 miles—both of which were far above what felt fair for the age and mileage and didn't make sense to me.
