Great company--they clearly care about their people!
I was diagnosed with cancer on September 28th. I have surgery to remove the cancer scheduled for October 15th. On October 7th I was told it will take 3 to 5 business days to process the claim for approval. That takes it out to October 14th at the latest. The day before my surgery to hopefully save my life. I am left wondering if I am going to have to sell my house and all other possessions to pay for at least some of the surgery. Cypress is a scam. Paid for full coverage under my companies plan and have had to fight Cypress every single time we use our insurance, even for routine checkups. People at my company have had to postpone/cancel needed surgeries because the hospitals refuse to take this coverage. All HR and benefits professionals who are shopping groups plans beware, Cypress will cause serious headaches and is unethical.
It keeps you running in circles..one tells you one thing... and another one something else. You wait forever for replies. It's up to you to get everything straight EVERYTIME you have to go to the Dr. It's like a discount card. Pure headache.
