Cynthia was great during initial consultations and at a court hearing but has since avoided numerous messages and phone calls from me trying to get my bill and retainer refunded for more than a month now.
BAD IDEA!!! Please save yourself from a horrible experience. Cynthia Clausen doesn't return phone calls or communicate with her clients. Once the up-front retainer fee is collected, you won't hear from her again. I had to drive to her office and drop-in unexpectedly in order to get guidance on my case. When I told her I had been trying to reach her by phone for OVER A MONTH, she tried to make excuses and even blamed her receptionist. She didn't even bother showing up for my court date.
