Cynthia Benson has given me a tremendous amount of help over the last couple of years. By the end of my first session I knew she would be the one. She is straight forward and honest with me. We come from different worlds, but she can still relate to me effectively. If I had it to do it all over again in choosing someone to turn to for help, I'd pick her 10 times out of 10. She has a way of relating methods of therapy to real time problems I'm trying to solve. My success has been overwhelming thanks to her.

Worth noting: my experience was from several years ago now, so maybe this has changed since. While my experience with her wasn't terrible, per-se, she completely failed to recognize the numerous signs of me living in an unsafe environment, leading to things getting worse over time until she eventually dropped me as a client when I started suspecting more things wrong with me than was true due to gaslighting at home.

So far we have only had one visit, but even so, we are both impressed by her logic and understanding. Glad we found her--as not all marriage counselors (Tri cities) are worth going to. PS I was worried about making our appointment--as the weather was turning bad. Receptionist stated you need 48 hours to cancel, BUT you can call last minute (if necessary) and setup a zoom meeting instead. This works for me.
