Doctor Banergee should resign from his position.
I want to warn people about Dr Banergee. I feel he nearly ruined my life. He would not accept how bad my mental health was. It resulted in me trying to commit suicide. It has taken years with a PROPPER psychiatrist and an amazing psychologist to piece myself together. They recognised how bad I was and diagnosed me CORRECTLY. No patronising and aggressive attitude. Please, please avoid him. I'm sure you are not stupid and attention seeking as I was told.
Dr Brendan is the best psychologist I’ve ever encountered and a lifesaver.
I see Dr Banajee and Bernard Hughes. With their expert guidance, I have managed to stay out of hospital since 2021. Just to put that into context, before this, my private health cover paid out $32000 dollars one year alone for treatment. Dr Banajee does everything with consultation with my daughter so it is a team effort. The receptionist, Pam and Tiani, are amazing, taking me to an empty office when I am distressed or making me a cup of coffee. Bernard Hughes also has given me endless coping strategies . I would never in a million years recommend Dr Amit Banerjee to ANYONE. I've never been made to feel so small, unheard and insignificant in my whole life and felt like he was bored with me during my appointment. He also said some remarks that made me feel totally dismissed. My appointment with this doctor set me back to the point where I had to have time off work because of how badly it affected my mental health
