They set you up to maximize the penalty. The payment did not go through but we just leave the balance as 0 and didn't send any notification until my mortgage company found out.
Someone needs to investigate these people. They are incompetent and steal money from tax payers with excuses such as "it is your fault out system didn't process your payment even though you have a recipt stating the payment was accepted".
Sent my check in 11/21. It never cleared. I cancelled the check and send a replacement 12/31. Now (1/02) I get an alert from my bank asking me to confirm the original check. This will eventually clear up and kind of comical, but pretty sad performance by CFISD.
Only one staff working. Been here an hour outside and still not the turn to pay taxes yet.
I did not receive my 2024 CFISD school tax bill. My choices to remedy that were 1). Call 281-664-6300. Hold time 48 minutes. ( with continuing messages “ your current expected hold time is 48, 45, 43……minutes. All our agents are busy assisting other callers. Please hold for the next available representative.” ( with an increasingly obnoxious “beep, beep, beep sound between messages).
