Tried my first class at CycleBar Wellington and had such a great experience! ♀️ John Carney was an incredible instructor — motivating, energetic, and made the class feel welcoming from start to finish. The music and atmosphere were amazing, and the workout was definitely challenging in the best way. I was nervous going in, but everyone was so encouraging and positive. Already looking forward to my next class… even if my legs need a day to recover first.
I had a completely disappointing experience. I felt the owner was rude and unkind in how a former employee and member of the community was handled, especially after he tragically lost his own cycle studio due to a flood. It created a very uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere along with deterring another first time rider from attending. In my opinion, the studio appears dated and the bikes/lockers seemed in need of better maintenance.
