I moved away from the area and requested for Cyclebar to cancel my membership. I was told I would have to come in person to cancel and it could not be done on the phone. I explained I no longer lived close enough to stop by and requested that they email me any forms I need to sign and I would happily sign them and email them back. This was on December 30th when I requested a cancellation. It is now March 10th and they have made my account go negative multiple times. They are refusing to cancel my membership. I dropped in for a class today and they were amazing! Loved the energy and instructor! Wish I lived in KC to join permanently.

Classes are great for working up a sweat and feeling accomplished. Both the instructors and the front desk are super friendly. However, their business practices are not favorable. They call and text incessantly and canceling was a grueling process. You must go in person to cancel and in my experience, I was still charged after that. They did end up refunding me, two months after I canceled. 5 stars!!! truly cannot say enough great things about CycleBar! The instructors bring incredible energy, and the classes are challenging in the best way, delivering real results. The sense of community here is unmatched in the area- it’s something you genuinely have to experience to understand. The GM and instructor, Jaclyn, is such a huge asset to the Leawood studio; she’s incredible. I’ve taken classes from every instructor, and each one is knowledgeable, motivating, and welcoming to riders of all levels. Highly recommend!

Just no. Extremely disappointing experience with CycleBar Leawood. I called to cancel my membership when I moved out of state and was told it was handled, only to be charged for two additional months. I later found out phone cancellations “aren’t allowed,” but that was never communicated to me. I was literally scammed out of $216. Despite multiple calls, follow-ups, and even going into the studio in person, refunds for the extra charges were denied. Beyond billing, the studio experience itself was underwhelming.
