Bought a Trek Verve 1 from Cycle Solutions. It came with a generic “MCSelle” saddle, unbranded grips, and a non-Bontrager seatpost—none of which matched the listed Bontrager components. The store said Trek shipped it that way, but there was no warning about substitutions, which felt misleading. Update: I contacted Trek Canada directly and they were very helpful. Scott and Cale are the best. They’re very knowledgeable of what they sell, honest in their recommendations and won’t try to upsell services or maintenance. I’d stop by more often if I wasn’t always too tempted to buy something!
