We had never seen a place with that many rare cycads. We were able to buy some nice plants, but got an incredible education on their history and their cultivation. Its like taking a tour of a botanical garden.

If someone is looking for rare cycads anywhere in the SE United States, the Cycad Jungle is the place to get them from. He had more cycads in one place than I have ever seen before. He can tell you each species, where they come from, and the specific needs of each and every plant. He also had a bigger selection of xeric, cold hardy bromeliads called Dyckias than I have seen anywhere in Florida.
