Last night I had my carbon monoxide alarm go off 😩 I called 911 and they called the Cy-Fair Police department station 12 and they were here in less than 10 minutes 😍🚒👩🏼‍🚒👨🏾‍🚒 I got my kids out the house and we sat outside in the car 🚗 They were so nice and kind they aired my house out and I had a bit of a headache because the leak came from my stove which I was boiling water and the leak was from that unstable stove so they checked my levels blood pressure etc because I have special needs also and they were so very... read more

My eight-year-old son recently developed an interest in playing with fire. Frustrated as parent, took him to a fire station where he met three experienced firefighters. The firefighters were patient with him. The firefighters explained the dangers of fire and emphasized that it’s not something to play with. I believe that learning from actual firefighters will make a difference in his behavior. I’m grateful to the Station 12 Firefighters for their help. CY-FAIR FIRE DEPARTMENT ENGINE #12 almost CAUSED an ACCIDENT. ENGINE #12 wanted to PULL OUT IN FRONT OF ME instead ENGINE #12 PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF THE VEHICLE BEHIND ME. ENGINE #12 didn't have any EMERGENCY LIGHTS ON. And STOPPED AT THE STOP LIGHT NEXT TO ME FOR A COUPLE OF MINUTES TILL IT TURNED GREEN so im GUESSING ENGINE #12 WAS NOT on an EMERGENCY CALL

I had a gas leak scare this morning and the response team was very quick to show up. Even tho there was nothing wrong, I greatly appreciate the readiness of these men. Thank you.
