The CVS pharmacy at Poplar Tent Rd Concord is the absolute worst. They have created a system for pick up inside at the pharmacy counter that requires customers to open the CVS app and scan a code that has been sent when prescriptions are filled before an employee will wait on them. This isn’t a bad system except the pharmacy employees will not come to the registers to speak or ask if they can help until this code is scanned. I have a 2 and 4 year old, both are in daycare/preschool. We get sick very every other week, it feels like To make an appointment is easy peasy, takes all but 3 minutes on the app. Get to the store, sit down and check in, also easy. The care my family receives from the health providers and professionals here is absolutely outstanding. They're quick, polite, they listen. Been to many CVS locations, to include other pharmacy’s. This location (Popular Tent in Concord, NC) never disappoints me in the wait time. They are fast, accurate, I’m not sure how they do it. Always happy, helpful and never seem to ever be in a bad mood. Love this group of hard working employees. They should all have their jobs changed to management and train new employees on how to conduct business because this is how you do it. Thank you! I am only giving a star so I can leave a review. The minute clinic was a joke today. I arrived as walk-in because the website and the monitor above the check-in said walk-ins welcome. There was one name on the monitor and no one in the waiting area. A man was sitting in the nurse station on his phone talking about football. He came out asking if he could assist. When I told him the kiosk said I had to wait until the next day, he said they were really booked up, with no one in the waiting area. So don't go if you really need ... read more
