The minute clinic is the WORST. They never do anything for me when I'm sick. I'm convinced they exist to take my money and prompt me to buy their over the counter meds (which usually do nothing for me when I'm sick enough to go in there).
Went in with sever chest and sinus congestion. Coughing up green phlegm. Rose the practitioner who saw me said "your insurance is not going through but don't worry we have been having computer problems," Later i find out that my insurance does not cover CVS anymore. She writes me for four prescriptions and tells me to buy Zyrtec and Flonase. That makes 6 items to take but no antibiotic. I live in Michigan and depend on the Minute Clinic when out of town. I went into the clinic yesterday with pain in my right ear. Leslie the nurse practitioner was awesome. She discovered that not only right ear was infected but also my left ear was full of fluid and seriously infected also. Leslie was courteous, professional and gave me the prescriptions I needed to continue my vacation. I would also like to say that my experience at the pharmacy was excellent.
