Cvs just informed me that they cancelled my refill request for plaquenil. They said there's restrictions on it due to covid. My rx is now invalid bc it was written for 30 days with refills, and they can now only be for 14 days with no refills, and has to have a diagnosis code. They never told me anything though, even though they cancelled my refill 2 times since Monday, and it is now Friday. I go to the same cvs on kitty hawk every month for the same 2 prescriptions. This year my insurance changed. I explained this at the beginning of the year and the lady told me they got it and applied it. Then only 1 prescription was ready and she got mad I wanted to wait for it as it was almost time to close. (6pm on a Saturday!?!?) I ended up paying full price. So I go again yesterday for February. I went to the CVS on Pat Booker, in Universal City. Just wanted some ice cream. Found what I wanted. Went to the register and waited, waited, waited. When I put the ice cream on the counter, the cashier told me I can't but that. The computer won't let them. She knew that because it is not a new problem. CVS - why put something on the shelf if it cannot be sold. Ridiculous.if you can't sell it, take it off of the shelf. Your practice is aggravating and time wasting.
