I'm an Indian student doing my Phd in USA. My experience shopping in Target (Hawley Lane Mall) was appalling. On July 20th, I was shopping for some essentials. After quickly gathering a gallon of milk and other stuff from all corners of the shop I headed to the Mens apparel section. I frequently shop at the Trumbull Target on Hawley Lane and cannot count how many times I have experienced cashiers who do not exhibit simple courtesy. One can go through the check out line and not be addressed with a Hello or Thank you. At times, cashiers do not even say the amount of the order. They just wait for you to hand the money. Maybe it's assumed these basic civilities do not have to be explained when workers are hired, but unfortunately it seems they do.
