RecommendedTreating an animal with a heart condition is expensive. However, given the service and benefit to the pet, the costs are worth it. Overall, CVCA does a great job. I especially appreciate how doctors communicate about treatment and any associated risks. I want to be involved in decision making. CVCA doctors take the time to explain options and offer education on your pet's condition.

RecommendedI appreciate all the detail & thoroughness - before, during, and after the visit. From letting me know the actual & potential costs, to advising that the doctor treating my pet is a resident, to all the specifics after the appointment. The only thing that might have made it just a little better would have been an email to recap all the findings (fortunately I had something to make notes on, but I can't write very fast)

RecommendedGood experience at the Fairfax office, no complaints at all. Rudy has received very good care over the years at CVCA, especially from Dr. Holdt and now Dr. Savino. I was very grateful to Dr. Savino and Ashleigh for their kindness to Rudy. He gets very afraid at the vet and while I wasn't there, I know they did their best with him and were very understanding about his fear of doctor's appointments.
