Something is definitely not right. I been natural for over 16 years. I occasionally apply heat to my hair. This is the second time I had visited this Salon for a wash and press and my hair has had a chemical smell and stringy texture when I would wash it at home. I was impressed that my hair stayed so super straight for 2 weeks. But when I washed my hair it smelled like a chemical was applied and my hair felt stringy…reminds of me when I use to relax my hair. The only positive thing I have to say is that my hair looked nice when I left the salon. However, I was quoted $55 on the phone when I asked the price for a wash and style on a sew in. I knew the price would fluctuate once I arrived, but I didn’t imagine it would nearly triple. The stylists at this salon are not personable and arguably lazy. If you are familiar with sew in extensions, you know the braids underneath need exposure to dry evenly and properly. Roller sets allow for this process to take less time. They only rolle... read more
Arody and all of the staff are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
Stylist very rude and unprofessional! I will NEVER have my daughter go there again. First they overcharged her for the service, didn't even put her hair in rollers and her hair poofed back up as soon as she left. Then the stylist was talking crap about me and my daughter in Spanish, not knowing my daughter understood what they were saying.
Please don’t come here. If I had the time I would open up a Dominican Hair Salon just so that no one would have to deal with these workers. I called the place ahead of time and I was told the price of $55 for a wash and set. When I get there, suddenly this price is $115. Granted I did get a deep conditioner but it was priced at $15. They said that the extra 45 is from my hair texture (I do have thick hair but not no 45 extra hair!). They didn’t even set my hair in rollers so they obviously have no clue what they’re doing.
