I had a fantastic experience at CV BBQ! The barbecue was rich, smoky, and full of deep, well-developed flavor. The meats were tender and juicy, cooked to perfection, and paired perfectly with the classic sides. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, with generous portions that really hit the spot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the visit enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming exactly what you want from a great BBQ place. Definitely a 5-star spot I’d happily return to!
Wow the tri-tip is excellent! Highly recommend
Fantastic BBQ. Tri tip and linguiça were my favorites. Family loves the Mac and cheese, but wasn't my favorite. Baked beans were the winner. Spicy BBQ over sweet.
Before I start this review, it should be noted that I’ve lived in Memphis, Tennessee, Kansas and also Texas so I know good barbecue. I got to tri-tip platter and my wife got the pulled pork sandwich. The tri-tip was OK little on the dry side, but that could be because we were there in their last hour before they closed. Great place to stop for lunch when travelling I-10. Limited menu but what we had was good. I liked the Pulled Pork. Sometimes these can get messy, but it came without much sauce and on a soft role. Freeway close. Lunch only weekdays, closed Sunday and Monday. Dinner till 6 on Friday and Saturday. Order at the counter. No paper menus.
