What a wonderful place. I went there struggling after being sexually assaulted and moving far away, and the wonderful people here turned me away after I told the old white lady I was suicidal. She said if I died she would get penalized. Not oh I'm worried about you, simply hey you're insignificant and you're not welcome So when I kill myself tonight, you can thank the Diversion center and the lady who enjoys watching people suffer. Very sad. Definitely is not a LGBT friendly center so if you’re in the community, be safe! Took a loved one here to get help & picked them up the next day. They were giving him his mental health at wrong times, night time meds in the morning; telling him “it wouldn’t kill him” adding more meds to his chart to it without notifying the him. Staff told him to just “go back to bed” instead of interacting with said patient with any attempt at all for a healthy recovery. Im SPEAKING MAJORITY OF NIGHT TIME STAFF. wouldn’t send my parents, brothers, sisters here. No one. It’s inhumane how the staff treat their patients. Absolutely horrible. Another patient at the center assisted 3 other patients that had been there for 7 days already in finding them placement with no cell phone, computer, referral forms, files, all while using the client landline phone.
