My autistic 6 year old son was very despondent and upset even before entering the salon, and then throughout the haircut. Sally did a wonderful job making him feel as comfortable as possible and giving him a nice haircut despite his thrashing around. Being my first time taking him for a haircut I didn't know that he would react this way. The online appointment system defaulted to 15m; despite going a couple of minutes over Sally took care to address my son's needs. Sally was amazing! It was my daughter’s first haircut and she has sensory issues so it was important to me that her first experience was a positive one and it absolutely was. Sally was quick and patient and my daughter’s hair came out super cute! Highly recommend especially if your child has sensory issues too
Sally was so in tune with my son’s cues and it made for an exceptional experience for his first haircut!
My wife and I were extremely nervous about getting our son his first haircut due to the fact that he does not like to meet new people (aka Mr. Stranger Danger lol). When we arrived at Cuts for Peanuts and met Sally my son lit up and waved saying “hi”.
