A great venue managed by University of Queensland. Excellent space for medium to large size events. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was really good and they catered for dietary requirements. The AV team was also pretty good and on point with running a hybrid event. The only one comment is that accessibility could be better + there are toilets but they are fairly small.
We had a wonderful wedding at Customs House, with both the ceremony and reception held there. Nicola was very helpful and made the whole planning process easy. The checklist and workflow were clear and smooth, and everything ran on time on the day. The food was great, and our guests really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a beautiful venue and a great experience — thank you to Nicola and the team for making our day so special.
I held an event at Customs House in the River Room, it was a great success, and I have received wonderful feedback from our guests. Everything - from the venue and the food to the attentive yet unobtrusive service from the Customs House staff - was exceptional.
