Pretty amateur. They weren't going to excavate nearly enough for a proper patio installation, I had to monitor their every move to make sure it was done close to correct. They still didn't level and compact the ground very well, and a couple months after completion the patio drainage is all wrong. Just not good quality.
For the last several years I had a vision of how I wanted to my backyard to look. After going meeting with several contractors none seemed to get what I wanted. I found Custom Outdoor and when i said I wanted a pavilion with metal poles with a metal roof Frank assured me that was what they were good at. They did an amazing job on my driveway! They helped me pick out the color pavers, answered all my questions and got the job done SO quickly - definitely will use them for another project! The working crew at my house were so nice!
I can't speak to the work product but the quote process was bad. COC had to reschedule the initial appointment to a week later as they did not enter it in their calendar. For the rescheduled appointment first thing in the morning they tried to push it back the morning of. Frank called me and was ugly about having to drive to the location on the south shore and finally told me to "just forget about it." 2 stars because Pam in the office was nice, communicative and apologetic about the initial scheduling mishap, but my guess i... read more
We could not be happier with our covered patio and outdoor kitchen. Throughout the entire process, Custom Outdoor Concepts made sure all of our concerns were addressed and never made us feel like we were a pain! (we know we are picky ) If you're looking for a contractor to take on any backyard project, I can not recommend Custom Outdoor Concepts enough!
