I called the dealership in advance to ask if they still had a specific car that I was ready to buy and if i could send someone to inspect it, after which I would purchase immediately as long as it passed. The salesman said yes. I scheduled someone to inspect it, then called this dealership back to let them know that someone was coming and that afterward I would buy it.
