Custom Mobility began specializing in custom adaptive wheelchairs in 1990, after starting a division in the early 1980s. In July 2002, we moved into a new 28,000 sq. ft. facility in Largo, FL. built specifically to accommodate retail sales, service, and manufacturing. The facility was especially designed with features for our clients such as covered entrance and parking, ample sized restrooms, power door openers, and space to present the latest in assistive technology equipment.

Disclaimer: I never actually managed to purchase anything from this company so they are probably more helpful under circumstances different than mine, hence 3 stars instead of 1. We called multiple times to try to get an appointment to get a lightweight folding wheelchair. Each time we called, we are refused with a new excuse. When we called, we were told we were wasting our time, we couldn't possibly afford it, and we were refused an appointment because they don't take my insurance.
