I solicited two estimates for a backsplash job of 35 sq ft approximately 3 weeks ago. Both estimates were for $500.00. I went with Custom Floors after speaking with owner David Michel of West Berlin, NJ. Now 3 weeks later, at 8:00 pm the night before, with the installation job 12 hours away, scheduled for 8:00 am, David Michel texts me that the price was $1,000.00.
